1. All stakes, direction signs, tee signs and any other course signage are to be treated as immovable obstructions from which free relief for swing and stance only is allowed under Rule 16.1
2. Relief may be taken from greenside sprinklers under Rule 16.1b. If the sprinkler is on the line of play within 2 club lengths of the green and within 2 club lengths of the ball
3. Staked trees are "no play zones". Free relief MUST be taken under 16.1b if there is interference with swing or stance. Grass trees indicating 130m from the centre of the green are to be treated as staked trees
4. All gardens are to be treated as "no play zones". Free relief MUST be taken under rule 16.1b
5. All roads and paths on the course, even if not artificially surfaced, are treated as immovable obstructions, free relief may be taken under Rule 16.6
6. If it is known or virtually certain a player's ball hit a powerline, support pole or support structure the ball MUST be replayed from as near as possible from where the previous stroke was made
7. Bare patches on fairways and greens and new work are to be treated as ground under repair (GUR) and free relief may be taken under Rule 16.1
8. When a player's ball has mud adhering to it and it lies in the general area cut to fairway height or less the ball may be LIFTED, CLEANED and REPLACED without penalty. The player must mark the spot before lifting the ball. Rule 14.2
9. Golf carts must not be driven beyond marked lines near the greens or close to the edge of the bunkers. Free relief from the marked line may be taken as per rule 16.1
10. Relief may be taken for stance and swing from tree stumps between the 14th and 15th fairways under Rule 16.1b
